| Cannot uninstall a program? Easy steps to repair erroneous uninstallations |

If you erase the root folder of a program to uninstall it, the program will still appear in the Add or Remove Program list. This is because the program its not really uninstalled, you have to erase it from the registry to finish the uninstallation correctly. 1. Go to Start, Run and type regedit. Ok. 2. Find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall 3. Select the program from the list and select remove to uninstall the program. ( 1 Vote ) |
