You can avoid users from shutdown the computer by hiding the shutdown button of the Start Menu, 1. Go to Start, Run and type regedit. Ok. 2. Find the key HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer 3. Create or modify the DWORD value NoClose to 1 to hide the button or 0 to show it. 4.
