| Disabling Startup Programs in Windows XP |
|
Some software we install in Windows run some of their components always. These components are added in Windows Startup so that they can be executed every time we turn on the computer. As a result we get a slower response from the system, as they need dedicated memory and resources of the system. So, in order to improve Windows XP performance we should disable those unnecessary programs. 1. Go to Start, Run and type msconfig or press the winkey + R and type msconfig. 2. Select the Startup tab and unmark the programs to disable them in Windows XP startup.
3. Apply and restart the system. ( 1 Vote ) |
