This step-by-step shows how to turn off Windows XP much more faster. 1. Go to Start, Run and write regedit. Ok. 2. Once inside regedit, go through the keys to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop 3. Find and double-click the key WaitToKillAppTimeout. Then change the value 20000 to 4000. 4. In the registry look for the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control 5. Go to WaitToKillAppTimeout, change the 20000 to 4000 and close the registry. By making this changes Windows will now turn off the PC 5 times faster it was before. ( 1 Vote ) |
