The real-time protection of Windows Defender runs even if we have turned off automatic execution.

So if you want to turn off Windows Defender completely follow these steps:

1. Open the Control Panel and select Windows Defender.
2. Go to the Tools menu.
3. Select Options and unmark Start automatically when Windows starts.
