It is possible to extend Windows Vista activation to 1 year by editing a simple value in the registry. Follow these steps: 1. Go to Start, write Run in the Start Search or press the Winkey + R and type cmd. Ok. 2. Once in command prompt type slmgr –rearm. Enter. 3. Type regedit in Run (Winkey + R) to open the registry.
4. Find the entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\SL 5. Change the SkipRearm value to 1. 6. Go to cmd and type slmgr –rearm and restart the system. 7. Repeat step six 7 times more to get a year to activate Vista. ( 1 Vote ) |
