Faced with the harsh criticism Windows Vista has suffered since it was released, Microsoft has clearly chosen to focus more seriously in the development of its next version of Windows.
Some of the applications have renewed interfaces and functions, but for Internet Explorer it seems to go a little further.

Internet Explorer 8

The browser created by Redmond has big challengers, which are gaining ground fast because of its well-known security problems. Microsoft still retains 80% of the market with Internet Explorer, followed by Mozilla Firefox and Opera in a third place and Google Chrome. The eighth version has some interesting features but there are numerous areas in which its rivals are better.

The rendering of pages and JavaScript are minor issues so far for IE8, maintaining a monolithic structure that impacts the performance as in previous versions. Already in IE8 beta2 we can appreciate developments that brings the tool, such as site suggestions, recommended pages similar in content to the ones already visited. Another plugin is the set of accelerators, which allow for navigation to get some juice typical user actions, such as translating text, content, copy and send it to a blog ( "blog"). These actions are obtained through the context menu on certain elements of the page. Also on MSN Maps service, though it is customizable and we can set another, such as Google Maps. The address bar URL list automatically visited and suggestions on a true novelty: InPrivate.
InPrivate browsing is a private, often known as "porn mode" by removing all traces of navigation andalusia logout. For web designers a new headache. IE8 mode provides all the benefits of the new browser but keeps away from compatibility with IE7, which is interesting for developers now use the standard mode to render the pages correctly by following W3C, at least in theory.
